The Lansing Educational Foundation sponsors an annual breakfast to honor students, teachers, support personnel and community member for their exemplary accomplishments in the previous year. Funds raised at this event are used to support the many projects of the Foundation. Guest speakers are invited to promote diligence in learning and citizenship. Previous speakers include former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Mr. Wayne Simien, Jr.
Mr. Damon Hininger will be the guest speaker for this year’s 8th Annual Honors Breakfast. Mr. Hininger was named among America's "20 Most Powerful CEOs Age 40 or Under" by Forbes Magazine in 2011.
